Karup Designs Comfort futon is a 15 cm thick bed mattress made of cotton and 5-10% polyester with a 40mm thick foam core. Karup's futon mattresses have a higher density and thickness than traditional Japanese futon beds, but still inherit the good qualities of a traditional futon. The Comfort futon provides you with a medium-firm and comfortable sleeping surface. The cotton in the futon adapts to your body and supports it, while the foam core isolates minor movements. The mattress has a stylish quilted surface.

Materials
  • Cotton: Due to cotton's qualities, it has been used in futon mattresses since ancient times. It adapts to the contours of the body and supports it along its entire length. Cotton absorbs moisture produced during the night, and during the day, air can circulate and evaporate the moisture. The cotton in Karup Designs futon mattresses is a completely natural material.
  • Foam: Polyurethane foam is known for its softness and lightness. The foam provides gentle support. When you sleep on it, it molds to the contours of the body, but during the day when the mattress is not in use, the material recovers its original shape.
Care Instructions
  • Be aware that a Futon mattress requires a little extra care compared to other mattresses.
  • We recommend using a mattress protector and sheets to cover your mattress to keep it neat.
  • The mattress is not water-resistant.
  • Use a dry cloth to wipe the mattress as needed.
  • It is important to flip the mattress occasionally to allow the material to "breathe".
