The Cloudy Rug is woven in wool and is available in several sizes and colours. The rug is fluffy, with a pile height of 3 cm, reminiscent of the traditional Greek Flokati. Here in a fantastic beige tone. The rug may feel slippery on the floor, a rug underlay ensures that the rug stays firmly in place on the floor, protecting both the rug and the floor from wear. This rug sheds.

Care Instructions
Regular and thorough vacuuming:Â
- Vacuum the rug on both sides and the floor beneath it regularly. Never use the brush attachment when vacuuming, and adjust the suction strength of your vacuum. Avoid vacuuming the rug's edges or fringes as they may get damaged. Rugs with pile should be vacuumed in the direction of the pile.
Rug underlay:Â
- The rug has an unlined back that may be slippery on the floor. Therefore, we recommend using rug underlay for grip and floor protection.
Brushing the shaggy rug:Â
- Rugs with long pile need to be brushed regularly to maintain the fibre's appearance. Use a wide-toothed brush.
Shedding:Â
- Wool rugs shed, especially those with pile. This is normal and a characteristic of the fibre. Shedding may be most intense when the rug is new. However, there are no guarantees that shedding will decrease over time. Vacuum the rug regularly with the brush head retracted to remove excess fibres from production. We also recommend shaking the rug before use to fluff up the pile and remove excess wool.
Rotate the rug:Â
- Rotate the rug in the room regularly to ensure even exposure and wear.
Stains:Â
- Always remove minor stains promptly. Blot wet stains with dry paper towels.
- For dry stains, gently scrape off from the edge towards the centre of the stain. Then, dampen a clean, colourless cloth or sponge with lukewarm water and mild soap. Lather the solution with lukewarm water before applying. Do not rub the stain as it may worsen. Blot the area to remove the liquid and repeat until the stain is gone.
- Avoid using strong chemicals for home stain treatment. Tough stains should be handled by professionals, ideally soon after the stain occurs to improve fibre cleanliness.
Rug cleaning by professionals:Â
- Always take your rug to a reputable laundry for professional flat washing. Classic Collection rugs should not be machine or dry cleaned.
Additional information:Â
- All new rugs have a distinct odour that will dissipate over time. Ventilating or vacuuming the rug will help the odour fade.
