Materials
- Cotton: Due to cotton's qualities, it has been used in futon mattresses since ancient times. It adapts to the body's contours and supports it along its entire length. Cotton absorbs moisture produced during the night, and during the day, air can circulate to evaporate the moisture. The cotton in Karup Designs futon mattresses is a completely natural material.
- Foam: Polyurethane foam is known for its softness and lightness. The foam provides gentle support. When you sleep on it, it molds to the body's contours, but during the day when the mattress is not in use, the material recovers its original shape.
- Be aware that a Futon mattress requires a little extra care compared to other mattresses.
- We recommend using a mattress protector and sheets to cover your mattress to keep it looking neat.
- The mattress is not waterproof.
- Use a dry cloth to wipe the mattress if needed.
- It's important to rotate the mattress occasionally to allow the material to "breathe".
